Reactiv-Trac™ Frame: Atlas's most recent patent, the variable forming of our aluminum ReactiV™ frame changes from a cylindrical to an elliptical shape to increase strength where the frame bears the greatest load for a stiffer, more responsive snowshoe frame.
19° Heel Lift: On steep climbs, calf muscles tire quickly and traction decreases when your foot matches the slope angle. The heel lift bar on Atlas snowshoes eases fatigue when climbing and ensures better grip when the terrain gets steep.
X-TRAC™ Crampon: An aggressive crampon that can bite into ice and hard packed snow while still being able to scoop underfoot when walking in softer conditions.
Aluminum Traction Rails: Curved traction rails set in close to the foot provide sidehill traction and stability.
Nytex Decking: Lightweight and flexible Nytex decking provides the durability winter demands, while easily shedding snow to lessen the load.
