Armada Trace 108 Skis - Women's 2022

Wide enough to float in deep pow, yet light enough for long days out on the trail, the Armada Trace 108 Skis rule the winter touring world as an AT ski that skis like a REAL ski. A lightweight 100% Caruba core gains strength and torsional rigidity through the use of Adaptive Mesh and strategic Titanal laminates, while EST taper and rocker profiling gives you plenty of surface area for those epic days you dream of. Not just another touring ski, the Trace 108 is stout enough to do duty as an inbounds and sidecountry performer, too.

Product Details

Rocker Type:
EST Freeride Rocker: Forebody rocker and extra tip-taper combine to create EST for optimized float in the soft stuff. Positive camber underfoot ensures these skis stay on rails when carving is the priority.
Flex:
Flex (1=Soft, 10=Stiff): Tip: 6 | Mid: 6 | Tail: 4
Core:
Caruba Core: Armada's lightest wood species keeps the overall weight low while retaining the power and dampness you want while skiing.
Laminates:
Titanal Binding Reinforcement: Rubber and Titanal are sandwiched together to dampen vibrations.
Adaptive Mesh: A variable angle weave optimizes vibration damping along the length of the ski to make the ski more damp, stable and tough without adding weight. In the ends of the ski, the weave runs nearly tip-to-tail, filtering chatter and tip bounce. Underfoot, the weave runs nearly side-to-side, filtering vibration introduced through the edges either by ice, bumps and crud. Without additional weight, Adaptive mesh provides a smoother ride.
Sidewalls:
AR75 Sidewalls: Sidewalls provide improved edge pressure under the boot, while cap constuction in the tip and tail provides smooth turn initiation and less hookiness - 75% sidewall, 25% cap.
Base:
Comp Series Base: Sintered UHMW polyethylene with added carbon aids in speed and durability
Edges:
1.7mm Impact Edge: Heat treated, built to avoid excess weight while maintaining durability.
Binding Compatibility:
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
