Large and in charge, the ENVE M640 27.5" Carbon Wheelset is an amazing platform for the grippiest tires available: the really really wide ones. With an internal width of 40mm, these rims are made for tires up to 3.2" wide! Made from extremely durable carbon fiber, these rims will handle the repeated rock strikes you're sure to experience when you drop your tire pressures for maximum grip. This wheelset is offered in 6 bolt and centerlock hub configurations.

Wide Hookless Beads: ENVE’s wide hookless bead is the result of 2 years of carbon mountain bike rim development. The result is a rim shape that features a wider leading edge of the hookless bead. This broad surface creates a more forgiving platform on which the tire can bottom out, and proves extremely effective in reducing the likelihood of “pinch” or “snake-bite” style flat.
Full Carbon Laminate: Each ENVE rim in the M Series has a dedicated 100% unidirectional carbon fiber laminate to ensure the best on-trail performance. The laminate is optimized to create a structure that achieves the desired impact resistance, stiffness, and compliance.
