Naming the Dakine Wyeast Jacket after the epic summit shot from Oregon's Mt. Hood was a stroke of genius; the jacket is a winner from top to bottom just like the run. Made of tough synthetic fabric with a 15K / 15K waterproof breathable membrane and fully taped seams, the Wyeast is made to keep the notorious wet and wild Pacific Northwest weather at bay, and if it can do it for the Oregonians it can do it for just about anyone. This is a shell designed to repel wind, snow and water. For the best results in a variety of temperatures, pair it with an appropriate base layer and insulating mid-layer.
