Select Contour — Developed specifically for the Salomon Burner, the Select Contour Core is a multi-density woodcore: the more solid, dense wood is on the outside, around the edges, thus providing extremely precise edge grip and stoutness. Zeolit Base — Skiers steal our style—we’re getting payback by stealing their technologies. Zeolit base was engineered to give a speed advantage to racers. The small particles of hydrophobic zeolit, fused into high molecular P-Tex, generate an exothermic reaction, and in the presence of frozen water the increased temperature melts the snow faster, and lets you reach Mach 1 on the coldest snow conditions.
ITC (Integrated Torsion Control) Fibers — Custom woven, just for Salomon, by the world’s leading providers, these ITC fiber layers maximize the strength and response of our high-end ERA boards, thus saving weight. The fibers crossing at an angle, optimized for snowboard dimensions, drives your energy from your feet to the right contact points, with no overlaying necessary. Quadratic Sidecut — A sidecut made out from elliptic curves to perfectly adjust the radius of every running edge section while keeping a natural driving feeling and no leaps: Intuitive turn initiations, effortless direction changes and fluid edge to edge transitions are the signature.
