The J2 boots are for the young buck who skis like a 25 year-old Olympian downhill racer. With a slightly stiffer flex than many youth boots, these are for the kids who tear it up. They perform well when coupled with high-performance carving or race skis. If you already have a hard time keeping up with your young one on the hill, these won’t help. However, since you’ll be saving a ton of money buying used boots, you can afford to spend the extra cash on a hot latte in the lodge while you watch your speed demon streak down the hill.
