CAPiTA Kazu Kokubo Pro Snowboard 2018

The CAPiTA Kazu Kokubo Pro Snowboard is a mean and lean big mountain freestyle board. Unlike many of the surfy large powder boards, this stick comes with a reverse camber nose and tapered tail to float the tip and sink the tail. The Panda Core™ gives the board a lightweight power with bamboo rods, while the X-Arcs™ Engineered Carbon provides strength. If you ride burly lines and steep-and-deep runs like a pro, then it is time to ride like Kazu and strap into the CAPiTA Kazu Kokubo Pro Snowboard.

Product Details

Rocker Type:
Mountain V3 Profile: Features lower-body camber with reverse cambered nose. This allows for maximum turning power while increasing float and landing stability. The camber runs deep into the tail providing enhanced performance. It uses traditional tip and tail arcs. Mountain V3 Profile
Flex:
Flex Rating: 6.5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
Shape:
Radical Taper: A sidecut engineered for deep powder but still versatile around the mountain. This narrower tail section naturally sinks in the powder while the wider nose section floats above the snow line. The result is less work and more fun as the board surfs on one smooth continuous arc.
Core:
Panda Core™: Super lightweight core with bamboo power rods.
Laminates:
X-Arcs™ Engineered Carbon: Computer engineered pre-shaped, pre-laminated carbon for precisely tuned performance. X-Arcs™ Engineered Carbon
Holysheet™ Fiberglass with Magic Bean Resin: Triax/ Biax Holysheet™ has higher glass to weight ratio than normal fiberglass for a more powerful and dynamic ride when impregnated with the new high performance plant based Magic Bean™ Resin.
Sidewalls:
Full ABS1000 Sidewalls
Base:
UltraDrive™ Base: A sintered ultra-high molecular weight, ultra-high density polyethylene that is the Millenium Falcon of base materials. The force is strong with this one.
Titanal Base Inlay: Titanal is a high strength hardened aluminum wrought alloy with excellent compression strength to weight ratios. A perfect top core structural reinforcement, these 20mm Titanal struts resist longitudinal compression.
Sublimation Base
Edges:
360˚ HRC48 Steel Edges
Topsheet:
MultiTech™ Level 4 DeepSpace™ Silkscreen: Whether it's a PAM16000™ printed topsheet with silkscreen embellishments, or a sublimated base with silkscreen and die-cut pieces, MultiTech™ sends you further into DeepSpace™.
PLT Topsheet Technology™: PLT™ technology is exclusive to CAPiTA MFG and magically bonds the topsheet to an already pressed snowboard. This is magical because the rest of the world mashes their topsheet on with glue, heat and pressure during the pressing stage. Doing so causes the fiberglass structure underneath to show through the topsheet. And because nobody wants to spend their hard earned cash on a bumpy snowboard, many companies slather their tops with a thick, toxic lacquer to smooth things out. Not only is that ish heavy and can potentially develop unsightly hairline cracks, it's also really unhealthy for the working environment. The PLT™ machine produces a featherlight, smooth, high-gloss finish, without all that poisonous deadweight.
Urethane Topsheet Anchor: Advanced shearing layer for shock absorption.

Additional Features:
Made at the Mothership (100% Hydro Powered Facility): The NH3 natural gas heating system has an ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) and GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 0, with a COP (coefficient of performance) of 5. This means that for every 1 unit of energy consumed by the system, 5 units of energy for heating and cooling is achieved. It's like making the effort to spin a 360, but landing a silky smooth 1800 instead. The Mothership is also designed to maximize the use of natural light during the day by having ample skylights and strategically placed interior cutaways throughout the entire facility -- while energy efficient LED lighting acts as supplementary illumination where necessary.
Binding Compatibility:
