About thirteen miles up Bridger Canyon Road, there is a cast iron whale atop a totem pole. The rule is you can't look at the whale or talk about it on the way up to Bridger Bowl or else it won't snow. What does this little tidbit of ski town superstition have to do with Nitro Pro One-Off Sven Thorgren Snowboard? Performance-wise, absolutely nothing. The Thorgren One-Off is a park board, most comfortable locking in presses and setting greasy switch back 7s, while Bridger Bowl barely has a park. But the goofy Swede decided to adorn this board with a flying whale. Coincidence? Probably. Still interesting, though.
