Blizzard Zero G 108 Skis 2018

While not as blindingly light as the other skis in the Zero G family, the Blizzard Zero G 108 Skis make up for it in flotation and power on the descents. A perfect choice as a quiver-of-one for a lighter backcountry skier or a "travel ski" for a trip to Japan or Europe to do dual duty as a lift-served and touring plank, the Zero G 108 Skis remarkably like the Cochise, but weighs nearly a pound less per ski!

Rocker Type:
Rocker Camber Rocker: Ski profile with rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases flotation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow. Rocker Camber Rocker
Core:
Flip Core Technology: The famed Blizzard Flip Core process matches the core contour with the intended rocker profile so core and laminates act in harmony and don't require re-shaping in the mold.
Ultralight Paulownia Core
Laminates:
Carbon Drive Technology: Blizzard integrates a 3D unidirectional carbon fiber frame over a Paulownia wood core with sidewalls underfoot. The 3D geometry of the carbon frame provides optimal flex and torsional rigidity, and a level of downhill performance that is unprecedented in an alpine touring ski. Carbon Drive Technology
Titanal Binding Interface
Top & Bottom Light Directional Fiberglass Layers
Super Light Fiberglass Bottom Layer
Sidewalls:
Sandwich Compound Sidewall: All Blizzard skis with the exception of some junior skis are built with ABS or Phenol sidewalls for superior performance (stability, power transmission, handling) and durability.
Base:
Sintered Graphite Base
Binding Compatibility:
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
