Volkl Alley Skis 2017

The Völkl Alley Skis are the park-oriented skis that are versatile and forgiving enough to serve as your first pair of skis. With an easy to turn 81 mm waist and a directional sidecut, the Alleys feature the trademark Völkl Multi Layer Wood Core with a durable Power Shell construction.

Product Details

Rocker Type:
Camber: Sounds old school, but camber gives you the pop and power you need to go big. Camber
Sidecut:
Directional Twin Sidecut: Slightly directional shaping with more tail taper, and enough tail rocker to ride switch with total confidence.
Core:
Multi-Layer Wood Core: Völkl freeskiing models feature a multi-layer wood core that features two different densities of wood. In the binding attachment area, a dense, ash core is used, while in the rest of the ski, the core is poplar. The more dense wood creates more secure screw retention, preventing binding pull-out, and the soft, supple poplar section allows for resilience and snap. The flex pattern is tailored to each ski model, depending on the desired performance. Multi-Layer Wood Core
Sidewalls:
Power Shell Cap Construction: Völkl’s Power Shell Construction utilizes a full cap shell, without a vertical sidewall. This design allows for an easy, round flex pattern, with an extremely friendly ride quality. Power Shell Cap Construction
Base:
P-Tex 1100
Binding Compatibility:
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
