Black Crows has finally released their freeride comp skis in a women's version. As the widest women's offering they've ever had, the Black Crows Anima Birdie Skis are obviously a blast in the powder. But they're also a weapon in mixed conditions. They ride hard, ski fast and live for big mountain moments. With a smooth, stiff flex, big shovels and an elegantly balanced rocker profile, the Animas allow for a bit more playful creativity than more traditional chargers, but they're still big aggressive planks that belong on the feet of skiers who like to get rowdy in big terrain.
