Armada Tracer 108 Skis 2021

As the jack of all trades in the alpine touring focused Tracer family, the Armada Tracer 108 Skis can provide for themselves. They're built with lightweight, chatter dampening Adaptive Mesh for easy climbs and finesse descents, plus a snappy Poplar-Caruba core, versatile 108mm waist, and EST Freeride Rocker for ease in the fluffy stuff and confidence in variable snow. You might just never hop in a lift line again.

Rocker Type

EST Freeride RockerForebody rocker and extra tip-taper combine to create EST for optimized float in the soft stuff. Positive camber underfoot ensures these skis stay on rails when carving is the priority.

Flex

Flex Pattern (1=Soft, 10=Stiff)Tip: 6.5 | Waist: 7 | Tail: 7.5

Core

Hybrid Caruba CoreA combination of lightweight woods and full-length hardwood stringers, the Hybrid Caruba core creates the ultimate in weight savings, agility and maneuverability without sacrificing security or dampness.

Laminates

Adaptive MeshA variable angle weave optimizes vibration damping along the length of the ski to make the ski more damp, stable and tough without adding weight. In the ends of the ski, the weave runs nearly tip-to-tail, filtering chatter and tip bounce. Underfoot, the weave runs nearly side-to-side, filtering vibration introduced through the edges either by ice, bumps and crud. Without additional weight, Adaptive mesh provides a smoother ride.

Titanal Binding ReinforcementRubber and Titanal are sandwiched together to dampen vibrations.

Sidewalls

AR75 SidewallsSidewalls provide improved edge pressure under the boot, while cap constuction in the tip and tail provides smooth turn initiation and less hookiness - 75% sidewall, 25% cap.

Base

Comp Series BaseSintered UHMW polyethylene with added carbon aids in speed and durability

Edges

1.7mm Impact EdgeHeat treated, built to avoid excess weight while maintaining durability.

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings

As you develop as a skier, pushing harder and skiing faster, you find out that pre-release can be just as dangerous as failure to release. Performance, light weight, and reliability are what have made the Griffon evo's most popular alpine binding over the years and the new Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings maintain that tradition. The Griffon ID introduces a new AFD (Anti-Friction Device) with a greater adjustment range, meant to function equally well with either Alpine ISO 5355 or Touring ISO 9523 soles.

Toe Piece

Triple Pivot Elite ToeToe construction with impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes the power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains. In relation to their weight, toes with this technology therefore achieve a never-seen-before performance.

AFD Gliding PlateAll Marker bindings (except the Jester Pro) are equipped with a moveable AFD (Anti Friction Device), allowing a precise release unhindered by dirt, snow, and ice buildup. The type of AFD is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality from racing to junior and even alpine touring.

Sole.IDMarker Sole.ID allows Marker Authorized Retailers to adjust Sole ID equipped bindings to every type of adult ski boot sole, from ISO 5355 Alpine to ISO 9523 Touring, with a height adjustable gliding plate (AFD).

Heel Piece

Inter Pivot HeelThe stunning heel construction delivers superior holding power for freeriding. The Inter Pivot Heel directs the power forces in the angle of elasticity improving the holding power and reducing pre-releases.
