SeaTrees works with communities to ‘reforest the ocean’ & reverse climate change by planting & protecting coastal ecosystems. Their projects directly benefit local communities, provide critical habitat for threatened species, and sequester carbon dioxide in the most effective way. Period.

How you can help
Ocean-health non-profit Sustainable Surf assesses all SeaTrees projects to ensure they are of the highest quality. They currently work with local planting and restoration partners to plant and protect mangroves on Biak Island, Indonesia, protect and restore a ridge-to-reef watershed in Cambodia, and restore giant kelp forests in Southern California. The next SeaTrees project to come online will be a coral resilience and restoration project in Tahiti.
