Mission
Brown Girl Surf works to build a more diverse, environmentally reverent, and joyful women’s surf culture by increasing access to surfing, cultivating community, amplifying the voices of women of color surfers, and taking care of the earth.

How evo supports Brown Girl Surf: 
Our first connection to BGS was when we saw a social media post that they were short on women's wet suits. We reached out to some of our friends and Billabong stepped up with a donation of brand new suits in a wide range of sizes for BGS participatnts. evo matched that donation with cash and we've been looking for ways to partner ever since. 

How you can help
All donations made to BGS before the end of the year will be matched by Patagonia! Proceeds will support Brown Girl Surf's Summer Camp, as well as their Surf Sister Saturdays in the spring and the fall. There, they connect girls and women of all ages to the ocean through surfing and community. No experience is necessary and all equipment, as well as transportation, is provided.
