INTERVIEW
How did you come to work at evo?
When I knew I was moving to Seattle I knew evo is where I wanted to work. I applied, was persistent, and showed them I could tune skis.

What's the best part about your job or working at evo?
Lots of great people who are passionate about the sport and their jobs. Plus I get to play with the best equipment out there and participate in a lot of sweet events.

What other companies/brands are killing it right now?
I'm a huge fan of Salomon, I think they are leading the backcountry hybrid game with making 1 setup to do it all. I have always loved DaKine packs and their outerwear has really become on point. It's always fun to see what ON3P comes out with right in our backyard too.

What's your weapon of choice?
Any ski over a 120mm waist for pow. A Mad River Rocket for big mountain expeditions. Tricycle in the off season.

Why are you so cool?
I was born and raised in Vermont.

Who am I?
I've been skiing since I could walk. I grew up on the east skiing ice, tight trees, and sketchy cliffs. Since then I have been bouncing around the NW from Eugene to Bellingham to Portland to Seattle and now back to Portland to start raising mini-rippers. I also Mt. bike and whitewater kayak. My last name is not a hippy name, its Hungarian (from Zunenshine), and my middle name is Michael so I've got that going for me too.

Bottled water?
Water's free at a tap near you. If only that were true for beer.

What's your favorite mountain?
Mt. Baker, Mad River Glen, and Asahidake
