"Everything has been redesigned. The internal shape, the fit has stayed the same, and that's about it. Everything else has changed."
— Lauren, North American Category Manager

The Salomon S/Pro Alpha C BOA 115 W Ski Boots are a ground-up rework of Salomon's women's 115 flex boot, built around a single goal: locking the heel and ankle down harder than any S/Pro before it. The new ExoDrive cuff drops the old medial pivot point and ties straight into the Powerlink at the lower shell, a change Salomon says boosts energy transfer from shin to ski by 25%. It's still that familiar low-volume 98mm last, just recut so a boot this precise doesn't fight you on the way in.

Pros

  • ExoDrive cuff and Powerlink lower pivot increase energy transfer from shin to ski by 25%
  • Reworked liner and released lower shell make a 98mm-last boot dramatically easier to step into (one-hand entry for most testers)
  • Cuff BOA runs on a single continuous cable for precise, shock-absorbing fit adjustment
  • Women's-specific tulip-shaped cuff accommodates a lower calf muscle without giving up heel hold
  • Same ExoDrive/Powerlink tech carries through all four flex options (115/105/95/85), so there's a fit for a range of ability levels

Cons

  • The 98mm last stays narrow at stock; wider or higher-volume feet will need the Custom Shell HD molding process to feel right

Product Details

Last: 98 mm. Narrow last for slim to normal width feet with normal volume. Can be heat molded using Salomon's Custom Shell HD process to approximately 104mm in the forefoot.

Flex Rating: 115. A very stiff flex for aggressive expert skiers who demand maximum support.

Liner: S/Pro CF Expert Liner with 4D construction and a fully dismantlable, customizable Custom Tongue (+/-8mm adjustment) for a tailored fit.

Shell Materials & Design: ExoDrive construction with a 3rd cuff overlap for heel retention, plus the Powerlink lower pivot linking cuff and shell. Shell: Polyurethane. Cuff: Polyurethane | Exowrap.

Buckles: Cuff-Mounted BOA® Fit System and 2 micro-adjustable aluminum 3D buckles with 3 instep positions.

Power Strap: Screwed Energyzer Claw 50mm.

Bootboard & Footbed: Sensitive² Footbed with a rigid heel insert and performance-driven foam layering for precise steering.

Fully Serviceable: The buckles, toothplate, strap and oversized pivot are screwable so dismantling the boot is easy and bootfitters can easily access all parts when working on customizing the fit.

Who Is It For?

Salomon's S/Pro Alpha C BOA 115 W is for strong, aggressive skiers who want a stiff, low-volume boot that puts every ounce of energy straight into the ski, and the Alpha C line covers a wide range of ability with 115, 105, 95, and 85 flex options built on the same tech. The tulip-shaped, women's-specific cuff is cut shorter and bowed to fit around a lower calf muscle, so it's worth a look if a snug, low-volume boot has never quite worked with your calf shape before. Skiers who need a wider last or a softer, more forgiving flex should look elsewhere in the line or at a wider-last model.
