The Salomon MTN Explore Ski Boots are a slightly lighter and softer version of the 120 flex MTN Lab boot that climbs even better and still takes no prisoners on the way down. With a 110 flex and coming in at 1426 grams in a 26.5, the MTN Explore is light enough for those epic volcano pushes and still powerful enough to let you ski like you really want to. Motion Flex technology with a superb 63˚ range of cuff motion and the low profile SureLock ski/walk mechanism let you cover long miles on the approach in comfort.

Stance
24 mm Oversized Pivot – Reduced play for extreme precision and direct power transmission. Because many modern all mountain skis are wider, they require more torque to stay on edge. Oversized Pivot answers the need of wider skis.
Ski/Walk Mode
Motion Flex – The touring cuff's spine is made of carbon and composite fiber allowing for a 63˚ range of motion when skinning while guaranteeing a true and progressive alpine flex.
Surelock Ski / Walk Mechanism – Low profile lever is located at the same level as the upper buckle and can be undone in the same movement. Maximum cuff release for touring and secure lock for skiing down. Horizontal positioning for mechanical reliability. Independent from the cuff buckle for more convenience when touring.
