The K2 Recon 130 LV Ski Boots are super stiff, high performance boot for serious inbounds riders who want the most power transfer, response, and adjustability out of their footwear. The 98mm shell and liner are fully heat moldable to get the best fit for your foot, and the boot comes with high end features like a cinching Power Strap and preinstalled GripWalk outsoles. For such a burly resort boot with this kind of flex rating the Recon 130's are crazy light, weighing in at just 1700g, so you don't even have to change out of them on your way to your après ski ballet lesson. Or maybe you do; we know a lot about skiing but ballet remains a mystery.

Powerfit Pro Liner – Pre-molded and lasted with Ultralon heat-moldable foam. Featuring a stiffer foam and a stiff, asymmetric tongue for added power and energy transmission, pre-molded ankle pockets, and a high-density power collar.
Shell Materials & Design
Powerlite Shell – K2's highest performance shell design, utilizing shell walls of varying thickness and four different types of TPU to provide the ultimate combination of light weight and responsiveness.
Energy Interlock – A rivet-free technology that integrates the cuff and shell, putting less stress on the boot's lower shell and producing a smooth, progressive flex.
Powerfuse Spyne – A co-injected Y-shaped support in the rear of the boot that adds strength and power to the Energy Interlock in order to maximize fore/aft flex efficiency and lateral stiffness, providing enhanced responsiveness and energy transfer to the ski.
Fastfit Instep – Softer TPU material is used in the instep area of select models' shells for quick and easy entry and exit.
