Comments about Burton Impact Wrist Guards:

I don't go on the mountain without them! I believe the burton wrists guards provide enough stiffness to prevent your wrists from bending too far back during a crash but enough flexibility to grab your board for tweeks. I have had some good crashes off rails, jumps and just cruising down the mountain. These wrists guards have saved my wrists from breaking multiple times. They are comfortable but i would say that if you strap down the hand really tight, your thumb will begin to cramp. Other than that, i have had no issues. Even though i don't fall much, i don't feel comfortable riding without them.

The wrist guards will make your hand bigger so keep that in mind when you are buying gloves. I would recommend buying gloves a size up so they will fit. I like to wear mittens and they fit great inside.

They are pretty durable, I've had mine for over 2 seasons and they still look brand new. These are a must for anyone who want to get some protective gear for the mountain.

Comments about Burton Impact Wrist Guards:

These are excellent wrist guards. They are way slimmer than wrist guards used for rollerblading. If you are a beginner, I highly recommend these because you are going to fall on your hands and it is going to hurt your wrists! Especially if you consistently fall on them. The only downfall is that my hands were overheating while I using them in the spring, so I'd suggest wearing lighter gloves with them. I used these with mittens and finger gloves and they both fit fine with only a little but of harder work since it is making your hands bigger. Overall, great product, highly reccommended for beginners and for peoplease trying new tricks where they are bound to fall. Good luck and have fun!

Comments about Burton Impact Wrist Guards:

Gloves are stylish, sturdy, and feel like they would protect well against a fall. However, i found them a bit tight around the hand and thumb, causing my hand to tingle a couple of times despite wearing a large with the straps on relatively loosely. Also, they were tough to fit under my gloves, but it could have just been that my gloves were to tight.

Comments about Burton Impact Wrist Guards:

Since I just got a cast off from having a broken wrist, I put a lot amid faith in these guards! They are very low profile and incredibly effective. I am less afraid of coming down hard than I was before my injury.
