    I really really wanted to like the Alex bottle. I loved the idea of being able to completely disassemble it to get a thorough cleaning. Unfortunately, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get it reassembled without a small leak. I tried repositioning the silicone seal, wetting the seal as recommended, unscrewing and rescrewing the bottle MULTIPLE times. But no matter what, it leaked. There must be a way to get a good seal on it but if it's that difficult, it's not worth it to me.

    I purchased the Alex bottle to use as a vessel during my Mexico Cruise. It worked very well! I used it for wine, beer and water while I worked on my tan around the pool. Since most water bottles are used for water nobody asked any questions. The Alex Bottle is very easy to clean and did not retain any beer or wine taste.

      there are a ton of reasons I love my Alex bottle! it's slim and sleek. it unscrews in the middle which makes it very easy to clean. it has 3 parts that fit into one another, so it can be packed compactly. leaves no after taste of any kind.
