Rocker Type
Late Rocker - An exaggerated rocker line with a later arc
and a higher degree provide a more straight
up explosive pop. This style of rocker creates more of an instant explosive buck off the wake for riders that go behind a big boat wake. Wakeboarders riding behind smaller wakes will still feel like they are getting a solid kick as well.
A Less Is More Rockerline - The latest is rockerlines focusing on one thing-glide speed: By lowering the rocker, Ronix created more contact with the water reducing the drag. This also creates a super sized sweet spot with the most amount of surface area in Ronix's high end boards.
Shape
Thin profile reduces swing weight.
Hull
G&R Technology - Grip and Release channels have all the traction you need for boat or cable riding without creating unneeded resistance with the water.
Rails/Edges
A more vertical sidewall pushes the tail out of the water for improved glide speed.
Core
Intelligent Core - By combining two types of foam and two types of wood with carbon fiber and fiberglass, the Intelligent core offers unprecedented feedback and response to the rider. This construction technique creates boards eager for large wakes, long lines, and faster speeds.
Fused Foam - By bonding Mod Pour foam on the rails with Italian crafted machined foam down the center of the board, Ronix creates the most responsive board yet, ready to snap back as soon as it touches the wake.
Maple Stringer
Parabolic Paulownia
Monocoque Construction - A wrapped glass from the top to the bottom means the flash line is no longer the weak point of the board and is now the strongest.
Laminates
Carbon and Glass - By combining carbon fiber and fiberglass into a laminate, Ronix has created a way for the two materials to work with each other for added liveliness and response.
Base
Glide Speed - Parks Bonifay and Danny Harf have been experimenting with bases with more surface contact and less drag; they produced Glide Speed for an easier release off the wake and added speed and it has been putting smiles on riders faces ever since.
Sintered Base - The most durable non-stick base material Ronix has ever tested on rails without loosing any glide speed on the water
Fins
4 fiberglass 1.0" fins
4 fiberglass .8" Utility Fins
Utility Fins - These go-anywhere, do-anything fins are just as happy carving on glassy mornings as they are getting bashed on rails during afternoon cable park sessions.
Additional Features
Suction Cups - Placed on the top deck, these increase the connection with the boots for added board response.
