Made for surfers, Quiksilver's Cypher PS+ heat-vest system uses far-infrared fibers which throw your body's heat right back at it, to keep your core warm. The flexible heating pads placed over your kidneys are helped by a rechargeable battery. So you don't paddle through the frigid waters off Patagonia? The Cypher PS+ is also perfect for early-morning jogs, wakeboard sessions, skiing, snowboarding and even games at Lambeau Field.

  • The Tech:FAR infrared technology is a safe, therapeutic form of heat that is free from hot wires or electromagnetic fields. This FAR infrared technology has been incorporated into flat flexible carbon pads to distribute heat when the system is powered on.
  • Features:The Quicksilver Cypher Ps+ Heated Vest has FAR infra-red technology with high (129 degrees) and low (116 degrees) heat settings, easy operation under a wetsuit, a rechargeable battery, car and wall battery chargers, and is impact resistant for when Jaws decides to take a nibble.
  • Heating Pads:The Cypher Ps+ Heated Vest utilizes flexible waterproof carbon pads to house the powered heat elements and distribute heat to the body and water within the wetsuit. These pads are incorporated into a lightweight polypropylene vest which can be worn under any wetsuit and serves as an additional thermal layer.

      Comments about Quiksilver Cypher Ps+ Heated Vest 2010:

      The vest does a good job of keeping me warm in the cold Northern CA waters. I have not been "hot" while wearing it, but it does feel like a nice warm hug throughout the session. And there is nothing like a hug when you are taking 8 foot closeouts on the head. The heating element is in the lower back region, similar to a heating pad and it does a good job of keeping water inside your suit warm. I would recommend this for those dealing with water temps under 60 degrees.
