This is a very well constructed travel bag. The dimensions of this bag are approximately 59" 149.86 cm x 20" 50.8cm which is great because some airlines apply an oversize bag charge for bags over 60". This bag will stretch out a bit and I was able to fit a 151cm board inside.
I rated it 4 stars opposed to 5 simply because I felt the bag might look a little too flashy to pass for a golf bag with the airlines. (Albeit I have not flown with the bag yet).

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
