Melanin CR39 – Electric's melanin infused CR-39 lenses have unprecedented optical clarity and are extremely durable. CR-39 lenses are also scratch resistant and lightweight.

Polycarbonate – Electric uses Bayer brand Makrolon raw polycarbonate material. This premium polycarbonate material is extremely lightweight, has excellent visual clarity and definition while protecting you from the Suns' harsh UV rays and Blue Light.

Mineral Glass – Electric’s lenses are hand polished and offer superior optical clarity. They are extremely scratch-resistant and are notably lightweight. The lenses are equal to or less than 2mm in thickness and have been treated for increased impact resistance.

Acetate Frame – Acetate also known as the Cellulose Acetate is a nylon-based plastic that is hypoallergenic, transparent and extremely glossy. Acetate produces an aesthetically pleasing eyewear, which is ideal for custom fitting and pliable when heated. Electric uses Mazzucchelli Acetate for all of their handmade Italian Acetate frames.

Grilamid® Frame – Grilamid® is a high tensile strength plastic that retains its' shape in warm temperatures. This material makes the frames extremely impact resistant, flexible, lightweight and durable. Electric uses Grilamid® in all of their molded injected eyewear.

Inserts – Heat tempered inserts at the temple.
