      Comments about Arc'teryx Gamma MX Hoodie:

      This review is going to break the rules a bit and talk about Evo's service. I got the hoody about three weeks ago and loved the design - great stretchy fabric; breathable (not a wind-stopper -- but that's a trade i'm prepared to make); great pockets; warm enough for chilly weather; good adjustable hood; everything I wanted. But then, after just a few outings around town the stitching on one of the seams started coming undone.
      Evo picked up on the problem, agreed to send a replacement, which I'm now waiting for. The process was painless -- I've been really impressed.
      If the hoody proves to be durable -- and by that I mean 5+ years of hard use, it'll be worth it, I think. Good for trails in cooler conditions; useful for travel; I think it'll be excellent for aerobic stuff in alpine climate. The Atom LT fits under it -- a bit snug, but OK, I think. I have a medium LT and medium Gamma MX. I'm 5'11" and about 175lbs.
