Rocker - Flat between the bindings with a mellow uplift on the tip and tail, this profile offers increased maneuverability and floatation without sacrificing stability or edge hold.
Sidecut
Quadratic Sidecut - The combination of flex and sidecut is Venture's secret sauce and is essential for balancing playfulness with control. Quadratic sidecuts help distribute pressure evenly on the snow, boosting stability and edge hold.
Core
Handmade FSC Core - Made from a poplar/ash mix, the poplar lends lightweight strength, while ash provides impact resistance and durability. Ash strips at the edges and under the inserts strengthen the areas the experience the most stress and deliver better edges hold on icy slopes. From day one Venture has only used Forest Stewardship Council certified hardwoods to make their cores. This ensure the wood is grown and harvested sustainably.
Laminates
Triaxial Fiberglass - Torsional stiffness is the key to good edge hold, especially on a rockered board. With fibers aligned in the direction of torsional stress, triaxial fiberglass is the best material for the job and offers superior torsional stiffness and rock solid edging.
Sidewalls
P-Tex Sidewall - For bombproof durability, all Venture boards come with rugged sintered P-Tex sidewalls.
Base
Durasurf Sintered Base - A Durasurf sintered base leads to fewer gouges from rocks and better wax absorption for a slick, fast ride. No other base material comes close to its speed without significantly sacrificing durability.

Topsheet
Castor Bean Topsheets - New for the 2012-2013 season is the Castor Bean Topsheet. All of Venture's boards will be made with the Castor Bean Topsheet made from the oil of castor beans. This further enhances Venture's mission to be environmentally friendly.
Graphics
Inlaid Base Graphics - Boards with inlaid base graphics have an advantage over printed graphics because with inlay, the base material bonds directly with the other components rather than with a weak layer of ink.

Wind Power - Venture has been running their entire operation on 100% wind power since 2004. Using sustainable alternative energy source supports their conservation ethic and helps reduce their output of greenhouse gases that lead to global warming.
Made in the USA - All parts of Venture snowboards, from the base to the topsheet, are made from scratch in Silverton, Colorado.
