From Nike video parts to quick Bone Zone (R.I.P.) edits, the Salomonder is the brain child of Jed Anderson and Chris Grenier. Featuring Salomon's Super Flat profile, this deck is flat contact point to contact point for catch-free spins and effortless presses. The Easy Press Construction and No Chip Tips allow this board to take a beating in the streets, while still being able to flex on any jibrony that gets in the way. Take your street cred to the next level with the Salomon Salomonder Snowboard.
Rocker Type
Super Flat - A flat profile for catch-free spins, effortless presses and smooth stability
Flex
Flex Rating: 2 (1 Softest - 10 Stiffest) - Soft flexing boards are more maneuverable at slow speeds and more forgiving in general, great for beginner to intermediate riders.
Shape
True Twin - Salomon's true twin shape is a freestyle specific shape with identical tip and tail lengths and shapes creating a symmetrical core profiling, flex and a centered binding stance.
EQ3 Sidecut - Equalizer's 3 straight lines evenly distribute pressure along your edge for easy edge hold, even on a softer board.
Core
Aspen Strong - CNC - selected high-density FSC certified wood strips for the inserts and rail zones result in improved impact resistance and a predictable flex all season long.
Easy Press Core - Tested by Chris Grenier and Jed Anderson in concrete cityscapes, Easy Press Core man-handles rails and ledges with a softer flex that won't buckle under the pressure. Press your board to the max without stacking up a pile of snapped decks.
Laminates
BA MD - Medium density European-made fiberglass layers for a guaranteed consistency of quality on light and lively boards.
Sidewalls
Royal Rubber Pads - 4 mm Soft Royal Rubber blocks are inserted into the high-pressure zones of Salomon's ABS sidewalls for dampening vibrations and mellowing out the big impacts.
Base
Extruded EG - Harder than the the Extruded base, the EXT EG takes the easy maintenance of a non sintered base and adds Electra for increased gliding characteristics.
Standard Stone Finish - Salomon's basic stone finish is the industry benchmark for high-end boards.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges
Freestyle Edge Bevel - Salomon creates a freestyle edge by detuning the tip and tail and then moving to a 2 degree edge holding tune throughout the key parts of the sidecut and then moves back to a 3 degree bevel edge between the feet, all to deliver a complete blend of edge hold and park shred.
Additional Features
No Chip Tips - No Chip Tips turn board blowouts into a thing of the past. Full aluminum tip and tail protection for the most durably designed decks you can get.
Binding Compatibility
2 x 4 Inserts pattern

  • Terrain: Freestyle
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Flat
    Flat
A flat profile is just as you’d expect – flat from near the tip of the board to near the tail. This shape splits the difference between camber and rocker, with more forgiving turnability than a fully cambered board and more precise edging capability than a fully rockered one
  • Flex Rating: Soft
    Soft
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
