Dying to practice your jibs in the backyard or show em' off for everyone to see in the park? The Salomon Salomonder is what you'll need to bring out that true potential. The No Chip Tip technology allows you to jib anything and everything without worrying about your board losing chunks. An EQ3 sidecut and Aspen Strong core keep your board strong regardless of what terrain you throw down on. So go show the ski patrol who's boss and throw jibs out all over the mountain with the Salomon Salomonder. *This is a new demo product used only for show. It has never been used but may have slight cosmetic wear from transit.*
Rocker Type
Super Flat - All terrain versatility comes in this flat profile for catch free spins, honest presses and stability.
Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 2, perfect for starting out, understanding the basics, and also for flexibility while pop, locking, and dropping it
Shape
True Twin - Specific to freestyle, this board shape has identical tip/tail lengths and shapes, symmetrical core profiling, flex and a centered stance. Whether you're riding goofy or regular the true twin shape means it doesn't matter.
Sidecut
EQ3 - Equalizer 3 cuts always grip and never slip. OG Equalizer's three straight lines evenly distribute pressure along your edge for easy edge hold even on a softer board.
Core
Aspen Strong - These boards have CNC-selected, high density FSC certified wood strips for the inserts and rail zones that results in improved impact resistance and a predictable flex from opening day to spring slush.
Laminates
BA MD - Medium Density European-made fiberglass guarantees a consistent quality level for light and lively performance.
Sidewalls
Royal Rubber Pads - 4 mm soft Royal Rubber blocks inserted into the high-pressure zones of our ABS sidewalls dampen vibration and mellow the big impacts.
Base
Extruded EG - Harder than the the Extruded base, the EXT EG takes the easy maintenance of a non sintered base and adds Electra for increased gliding characteristics.
Edges
Freestyle Edge Bevel - Detuning the tip and tail to a 2 degree holding tune throughout the key parts of the sidecut, then back to a 3 degree bevel between the feet. This delivers the complete blend of edge hold and park shred.
Additional Features
No Chip Tips - Turning board blowouts into a thing of the past due to a full aluminum tip and tail protection for the most durable deck around.

    Beginner-Intermediate
    Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.

    A flat profile is just as you’d expect – flat from near the tip of the board to near the tail. This shape splits the difference between camber and rocker, with more forgiving turnability than a fully cambered board and more precise edging capability than a fully rockered one

    The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
