Salomon Sabotage Snowboard 2013

Don't Sabotage your experience on the mountain by having a board that doesn't meet the highest quality. With the new Salomon Sabotage Snowboard you will get all the features you need to give you the advantage in the park when stomping huge kickers and blasting out of the pipe. The Sabotage is the mother ship of park boards and you will be flyin' high with the aliens on this board.
Rocker Type
Flat Out Camber - For precision park performance the flat profile loaded with camber under the feet for maximum stability and response when you need it.
Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 6 flex is geared more towards advanced riders who are looking for precision control at high speeds anywhere on the mountain.
Shape
True Twin - Specific to freestyle, this board shape has identical tip/tail lengths and shapes, symmetrical core profiling, flex and a centered stance. Whether you're riding goofy or regular the true twin shape means it doesn't matter.
Sidecut
EQ. 5 - Equalizer 5 blends five straight lines to give you more control and precision in all conditions
Core
Aspen Strong - These boards have CNC-selected, high density FSC certified wood strips for the inserts and rail zones that results in improved impact resistance and a predictable flex from opening day to spring slush.
Popster - Popster's shaped core maximizes the natural snap of wood - like the kicktail of your skateboard built into your snowboard!
Laminates
BA MD - Medium Density European-made fiberglass guarantees a consistent quality level for light and lively performance.
Sidewalls
Royal Rubber Pads - 4 mm soft Royal Rubber blocks inserted into the high-pressure zones of the ABS sidewalls dampen vibration and soften big impacts
Base
Sintered - An industry standard for quality base materials. Provides a moderate balance between the speed created by a hard surface and good wax retention.
Standard Stone Finish - Salomon's Basic Stone Finish is the equal of most other manufacturer's high end finish.
Edges
Freestyle Edge Bevel - Detuning the tip and tail to a 2 degree holding tune throughout the key parts of the sidecut, then back to a 3 degree bevel between the feet. This delivers the complete blend of edge hold and park shred.

Specs

  • Terrain: Freestyle
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Flat/Camber/Flat
    Flat/Camber/Flat
This profile is very similar to full camber, except that it has a mellower flat area from the bindings out. This will make it more forgiving and easier to do some tricks in the park.
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
    Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
  • Core/Laminates: Wood
  • Snowboard Awards: Transworld Snowboarding Good Wood

Comments about Salomon Sabotage Snowboard 2013:

I cant stand it, how well that Salomon planned it. This is a fun mid flex board with good pop. Great all mountain freestyle deck. From pow slashes to buttering your favorite whatever, this board does it.
