The mother ship of park boards, the 2014 Salomon Sabatoge Snowboard gives you the advantage to stay a little ahead of the all-mountain freestyle pack. Built with Flat Out Camber rocker profile, Equalizer 5 sidecut, and Popster shaped core for the edge hold, pop, speed and playfulness needed to stomp those huge jumps and blast out of the pipe. You'd better be ready cause the Salomon Sabatoge Snowboard is an aggressive park board that is strong enough for any type of terrain you want to ride.
Rocker Type
Flat Out Camber - A flat profile loaded with Camber under the feet for maximum stability and response, when and where you need it.
Flex
Flex Rating: 6 (1 Softest - 10 Stiffest) - A stiff flex for intermediate to advance riders looking for more precision control at high speeds, whether it be in the park, pipe, or anywhere on the hill
Shape
True Twin - Salomon's true twin shape is a freestyle specific shape with identical tip and tail lengths and shapes creating a symmetrical core profiling, flex and a centered binding stance.
EQ5 Sidecut - Using 5 straight lines, Equalizer 5 adds extra control and precision for a more responsive ride in all conditions.
Core
Aspen Strong - CNC - selected high-density FSC certified wood strips for the inserts and rail zones result in improved impact resistance and a predictable flex all season long
Popster - Popster technology maximizes the natural snap and powerful pop of wood with Popster's shaped core profile, creating the feeling like your skateboard kicktail finally connected with your snowboard.
Laminates
BA MD - Medium density European-made fiberglass layers for a guaranteed consistency of quality on light and lively boards
Sidewalls
Royal Rubber Pads - 4 mm Soft Royal Rubber blocks inserted into the high-pressure zones of Salomon's ABS sidewalls for dampening vibrations and mellowing out during the big impacts
Base
Sintered - An industry standard for quality sintered base materials provides a moderate balance between the speed created by a hard surface and good wax retention.
Standard Stone Finish - Salomon's basic stone finish is the industry benchmark for high-end boards.
Edges
Freestyle Edge Bevel - Salomon creates a freestyle edge by detuning the tip and tail and then moving to a 2 degree edge holding tune throughout the key parts of the sidecut and then moves back to a 3 degree bevel edge between the feet, all to deliver a complete blend of edge hold and park shred.
Binding Compatibility
2 x 4 Inserts pattern

  • Terrain: Freestyle
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Flat/Camber/Flat
    Flat/Camber/Flat
This profile is very similar to full camber, except that it has a mellower flat area from the bindings out. This will make it more forgiving and easier to do some tricks in the park.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
    Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
