Comments about Salomon Powder Snake Snowboard 2012:

I'm 5'10" and 165lbs and went with the 166 for the most float, and also wanted the huge radius sidecut that only the 166 has. at 10.5M radius, you really notice and excellent and stable edge when carving fast on groomed runs. Going slow and trying to stay on the edge with this much sidecut will have you falling into the turn. Excellent choice for powder, or super fast carves on groomers.

this Powder Snake won't bite you

Comments about Salomon Powder Snake Snowboard 2012:

this was hands down the most fun board i have ridden in the last couple years. the powder snake builds off the success of the sick stick for twin-tip powder slaying board. there wasn't any powder where i demoed, but it was fun enough without it. this board is super-light and held up at high speed very well for being a powder board. the nose and tail shape made me want to slash everything like i was on a surfboard. i could easily see myself riding this board as an everyday board. 6 thumbs up!

Comments about Salomon Powder Snake Snowboard 2012:

I rode this board as a demo last season. It was strictly used on powder days at Steven's Pass and after one run, it became one of my favorite powder boards I'd ridden. The Powder Snake has a lot of pop for a rockered pow board which gave me more confidence trying tricks in the deep stuff.

I did a lot of hiking with it as well, and the weight of the board made it super easy to carry around, and once I got into the trees, the board did everything I needed. It was super fast and so nimble between the tights trees.
