Get your little shredder stoked with the Salomon Fierce Snowboard. This entry level true twin board has features like Bite Free Edges and a Super Flat Rocker Profile, that make it the perfect board for your grom to hone his skills. Whether he's got his eyes on the park, or the hill, the Salomon Fierce Snowboard will have him on his way to years of fun.
Rocker Type
Flat Out Rocker - Flat profile between the bindings for stability with more rocker on tip & tail for allover playfulness.
Flex
Flex Rating: 2 (1 Softest - 10 Stiffest) - Soft flexing boards are more maneuverable at slow speeds and more forgiving in general, great for beginner to intermediate riders.
Shape
True Twin - Salomon's true twin shape is a freestyle specific shape with identical tip and tail lengths and shapes creating a symmetrical core profiling, flex and a centered binding stance.
Radial - Created from a perfect circle, Radial is the classic sidecut for consistent response - forward and switch.
Quadratic - A blend of elliptic curves for easy turn initiation, effortless direction changes and fluid edge to edge transitions.
Core
Aspen Strong - CNC - selected high-density FSC certified wood strips for the inserts and rail zones result in improved impact resistance and a predictable flex all season long.
Laminates
BA LD - Low-density fibers allow Salomon to produce lighter boards that are durable enough to keep their playful and forgiving flex forever.
Sidewalls
ABS Sidewall - Salomon's Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene woud probably taste bad in your daily meal, but it's the best material for sidewalls. The molecular structure can be described as a concrete bar with rubber nuggets inside, combining toughness for energy transfer with dampening properties for impact absorption.
Base
Extruded - Offers long lasting glide with a low-maintenance attitude.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Standard Stone Finish - Salomon's basic stone finish is the industry benchmark for high-end boards.
Edges
Bite Free Edge Tune - A factory fully detuned tip and tail for a smoother ride and less hangups while setting an edge.
Binding Compatibility
4x4 Inserts pattern

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freestyle
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Flat
    Flat
A flat profile is just as you’d expect – flat from near the tip of the board to near the tail. This shape splits the difference between camber and rocker, with more forgiving turnability than a fully cambered board and more precise edging capability than a fully rockered one
  • Shape: Directional Twin
  • Flex Rating: Soft
    Soft
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
