Taking your skill to the next level starts with a board that can progress with you. The Roxy XOXO PBTX offers an intuitive, asymmetrical shape that works with the mechanics of your body by providing a deeper sidecut on the heel edge to adjust to your natural body movements. A softer flex, paired with a little bit of rocker, makes this board playful and fun, which is why rail queen Corinne Pasela loves the Roxy XOXO PBTX.
Rocker Type
PBTX - Intuitive snowboarding is balance through asymmetry. Sideways snowboard stance gives an asymmetry that requires us to move differently when initiating toeside and heelside turns. Pickled Banana Traction has a deeper sidecut on the heel edge, which initiates a little sooner and easier than the toeside, balancing out the lack of dexterity our heels have compared to our toes and forward bending knees. The third of the core closest to the heel edge is softer wood for a smoother transition over to that edge. The only difference you'll notice is snowboarding feels easier.
Flex
Flex Rating: 3 (1 Soft - 10 Very Stiff) - A medium flex makes every run on the mountain feel like a lap in the park.
Shape
Next Level Freestyle True Twin - The nose and tail are symmetrical, with equal length and width from the center of the board. The board rides equally amazing both regular and switch, and excels all over the mountain and park.
Core
Full Heart - Bursting with energy, light, and liveliness. A combination of light timbers that are strong, fast growing and sustainable. Includes FSC certified wood.
Laminates
Triaxial - Fiberglass laid in three different directions to enhance tortion and pop.
Sidewalls
5 SW - UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) exterior sidewalls made from soy-based elastomer are laminated to five internal wood layers for totally bombproof sidewalls.
Base
Sintered 9900 - Ultra-durable and highly porous for increased wax absorption and lightening fast speed
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges
Magne-Traction - Get a grip with the edge hold and control that you deserve. Magne-traction works like a bread knife, cutting more efficiently than a straight edge because of the serration. Apply this idea to the snow. The wavy Magne-traction edges enable the board to grip and hold better in all conditions.
Topsheet
Bio Plastic Beans - An earth friendly, bio-plastic top skin made from beans, featuring the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any top sheet in the industry.

Glow in the dark sidewalls and tip/tail

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freestyle
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker
    Rocker
A rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Soft
    Soft
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
