Feeling inspired to get outside and ride around a winter wonderland? The Roxy Inspire BTX Snowboard should be your ride of choice. Maybe you're a little nervous that the learning curve is going to be hard. No worries, with beveled Magne-Traction™ edges the chances of catching an edge will be the least of your concerns. More likely, you'll be charging down the Green and Blue runs so fast that your biggest trouble will be deciding what run to go down next. The Roxy Inspire BTX Snowboard will give you the confidence to link your carves, ride fresh snow and even play in the park!
Rocker Type
BTX - Rocker between the feet with zero camber (flat) from the feet extending out to the top and tail. The snowboard's arch between the feet improves turn initiation. BTX performs just as good no matter where you ride it.

Flex
Flex Rating: 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - A medium flex is perfect for all mountain boarders of any ability level. The precision and stability of a stiff board without losing the forgiving and playful feel of a softer board.
Shape
True Twin - A true twin snowboard shape is ideal for riders who want to ride switch. The nose and tail are identical and the flex distributes throughout the entirety of the board. True twins are symmetrical.

Core
Kind Hearted Core - A little softer, kinder FCS certified wood. Light, fast-growing, sustainable tree-farmed wood with long fibers for pop.
Sidewalls
5 SW - UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) sidewalls made from a soy-based elastomer. Laminated with five internal layers of wood to create a durable sidewall.
Base
CX 2500 - An extruded base that is fast and requires little maintenance.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges
Magne-Traction™ - Strategically located serrations on your edges that create confidence building, fatigue-reducing edge hold all over the mountain especially on hard pack and ice.

Beveled edges for a catch-free ride.
Topsheet
Co-Ex - Good impact strength, compatible with eco-sublimation.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Soft
    Soft
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
