Looking for a versatile all-mountain ripper that rides easy on groomers, floats in powder and is ready for some fun in the park? Meet your new best friend - the Roxy Ally BTX Snowboard. With a softer flex for freestyle riding and Magne-Traction edges that grip hardpack, this board has your back in all conditions. Turn the whole mountain into your playground with the Roxy Ally BTX Snowboard.
Rocker Type
BTX - Patented Banana Traction Technology replaces camber with reverse camber between the feet, and flat, or no camber from the feet out. The board's rockered mid-section is a natural turning arc that flattens out under the rider's weight, providing full nose-to-tail edge contact. The flex pattern includes a slightly stiffer nose and tail for stable landings, increased pop, and float-ability in deep powder. Magnetraction integrates with Banana Technology to boost edge hold in all conditions.
Flex
Flex Rating: 3 (1 Soft - 10 Very Stiff) - A medium flex makes every run on the mountain feel like a lap in the park.
Shape
All Mountain Directional Twin - Between the contact points the board measures a true twin, but the nose above the contact point is slightly higher and longer than the tail. This allows the board to float in powder or choppy snow and still feel consistent when riding switch.
Core
Kind Hearted - A little softer, kinder wood. Includes FSC certified wood. Light, fast growing, farmed wood with long fibers for pop.
Laminates
Biaxial - Two-way fiberglass orientation that is forgiving and fun.
Sidewalls
5 SW - UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) exterior sidewalls made from soy-based elastomer are laminated to five internal wood layers for totally bombproof sidewalls.
Base
CX 2500 - An extruded base that's fast and requires little maintenance.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges
Magne-Traction - Get a grip with the edge hold and control that you deserve. Magne-traction works like a bread knife, cutting more efficiently than a straight edge because of the serration. Apply this idea to the snow. The wavy Magne-traction edges enable the board to grip and hold better in all conditions.
Topsheet
Co-Ex - Good impact strength, compatible with eco-sublimation.

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freestyle
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker
    Rocker
A rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.
  • Shape: Directional Twin
  • Flex Rating: Soft
    Soft
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
