Nobody likes a pow purist. The "I only go when there's 15+ inches fresh" guy. If you know one of them, do them a favor and get them on the Rossignol Templar Magtek. Toss out the powsurfer and step up on a man's board that can take down the fiercest snow falls while also keeping you stoked between storms. The AmpTek All Mountain Rocker-Camber and Magne-Traction 5S will provide a familiar sensation to pow-addicts everywhere with smooth, easily-initiated turns and edge hold through the crud. Plus, Radcut increases your riding style with seamless edge transitions and a Glass Fiber layup adding durability and customized flex. A deck for snowboard purists: the Rossignol Templar Magtek Snowboard.
Rocker Type
AmpTek All-Mountain Rocker - AmpTek All-Mountain is Rossignol's specially designed blend for all-mountain dominators. This technology places a flattened rocker between the feet. All-mountain riders will love the added stability, control, edge hold and extremely smooth landings that come from this versatile blend.
Flex
Flex Rating: 6 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - Medium flex for all-mountain support on varying features.
Shape
Directional Twin - A directional twin shape is ideal for snowboarders who ride the entire mountain. The nose is just a tad longer than the tail. The design is versatile enough for freestyle, with improved floatation and faster turning in the powder.
Radcut - Reverse sidecut at the tip and tail meets regular sidecut underfoot for playful turn variations and seamless edge transitions.
Core
Wood 6420 - Single type of wood that's vertically laminated to give durability and comfort without chopping down the bank.
Laminates
Glass Fiber - Has greater elongation before breaking than carbon and comes in multiple weights and weavings. Rossignol plays matchmaker, matching each board with the right glass fiber for customized flex and torsional resistance.
Base
4400 Sintered
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges
Magne-Traction - The hot commodity in edge-technology; Magne-Traction maximizes your edge hold between your feet so you have better control and stability even on the iciest slopes. Magne-Traction varies in curves depending on the board, regardless it will deliver a catch free ride any day.
Additional Features
Magtek - The best edge story meets the best camber story. Only Rossignol Snowboards give you the best of both worlds: award-winning Magne-Traction edges fused with award-winning AmpTek rocker. This is the cutting edge in snowboard design. Better edge hold, more control and greater performance for anyone, anywhere, anytime. They call it Magtek.
Binding Compatibility

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker
    Rocker/Camber/Rocker
Rocker/Camber/Rocker shapes seek to give you both hard-carving edgehold on firm snow from camber underfoot with enhanced turnability and float in powder from the rockered tip and tail. This profile is increasingly popular for freeride boards designed primarily for soft snow.
  • Shape: Directional Twin
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
