Rossignol Krypto Magtek Mid Wide Snowboard 2013

No words could sum up the Rossignol Krypto MagTek Mid-Wide Snowboard any better than those of Rossignol team rider Neil Provo, who says, "The Krypto MagTek is a sick snowboard for those deep pow days at the resort. The mellow flex paired with the early rise nose and tail keep you going all day without killing your legs by noon." The Magne-Traction 7M Edges keep your board gripping the snow in even the sketchiest conditions, while the Super Directional flex pattern gives you the best board control you'll ever have. Make sure your board can slay any terrain, especially those sick pow lines, and check out the Rossignol Krypto MagTek Mid-Wide Snowboard.
Rocker Type
AMPTEK All-Mountain - A combination of 60% Rocker and 40% Camber gives you more control, stability, edge pressure and smoother landings due to the rocker profile in the nose and tail and camber profile under the bindings.
Flex
Super Directional - Extremely stiff under the back foot gives you maximum control, while a medium-stiff flex at the front foot allows for smoother turns. A stiff waist gives more stability at higher speeds.
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 9, perfect for powder days
Sidecut
Directional Twin - A stiff tail for punch on kickers and solid landings with a softer waist and nose for smoothness
Core
TwinWood 3 - Hard and soft wood laminated together for a unique blend of durability, smoothness and low swing weight
Laminates
Glass Fiber - Glass has greater elongation before break than carbon and comes in multiple weights and weavings, making it the #1 choice for customized flex and torsional resistance. Glass fiber also stabilizes the mechanical properties of the wood core over time.
Base
Sintered 7500 - A super high density UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) sintered base with a stone finishing gives the board the fastest and most durable base to date.
Edges
Magne-Traction 7M - Featuring 7 deeps bumps distributed along the edges to maximize the edge pressure between the feet, bringing the once unreachable "dead area" of the board back to life for added control and stability even in the gnarliest conditions

Binding Compatibility
Rossignol Snowboards can accommodate both 2x4 and 4x4 insert patterns.

Comments about Rossignol Krypto Magtek Mid Wide Snowboard 2013:

The more I ride this board the better it gets. I've taken it out 6 times now and am starting to rip up the mountain as much as I can for someone of my ability. Very stable at speed and it grips like you wouldn't believe!!

I already feel my riding is improving each time I hit the slopes

The Magne-Traction is great, it gives you huge confidence to throw your self into hard turns at speed.

Great board in the pow - floats with ease - all in all I'm a huge fan of this board!!

Comments about Rossignol Krypto Magtek Mid Wide Snowboard 2013:

This board excels in the toughest conditions. Whether it's the magtek holding an edge on the hard-pack/icy traverse, the early rise scoop nose/rocker tail giving you superior float in the powder, or the slight camber underfoot that gives the board that extra stability while bombing through the chop, this board can always be counted on. If you are looking for a park board or a board that will feel the same riding switch as it does regular, than this may not be the board for you. But if you are looking for a board that will outperform any true twin in the toughest conditions look no further.
