Whether you are ripping gnarly pillow lines in the Cascades or tearing up the local parks, the 2014 Rossignol Diva Magtek Snowboard is sure to set you apart from the rest. With Magne-Traction 7M edges and AmpTek Freestyle Rocker, the Diva Magtek provides superior grip in any snow conditions, while still being loose enough to get rad in the park. Pow day or park day, the 2014 Rossignol Diva Magtek Snowboard will preform at it's best to propel you to the top of the snowboard-charts.
Rocker Type
AMPTEK Freestyle - A combination of 40% Rocker and 60% Camber: rocker in the nose and tail adds stability while the camber under foot adds pop and control.

Flex
Flex Rating: 7 (1 Softest - 10 Stiffest) - A stiff flex for intermediate to advanced riders looking for more precision control at high speeds, whether it be in the park, pipe, or anywhere on the hill
Twin Freestyle - A softer waist allows for easy manipulation and control, while stiffer areas under the bindings offer more pop and balance.
Shape
True Twin - A stiff nose and tail provide pop and high impact landings, while the soft waist gives balance on rails and smooth transitions.
Core
TwinWood 3 CBF2 - Delivers incredible grip with smooth edge-to-edge transitions and lower swing weight

Laminates
CBF2 - Continuous Basalt Fiber 2 - Basalt is not only Earth's most abundant bedrock, it also has a strength-to-weight ratio that exceeds the strength of fiber glass by 1.5 times and a longer elongation at break than carbon fibers. This results in superior grip, excellent stability at high speed, magnanimous pop and fantastic rolling when laminated along the edges of our CBF2.
Base
Sintered 4400 - A high density stone finished sintered base: fast, durable and a lot easier to service than the 7500 base
Edges
Magne-Traction 7M - The original 7M version features 7 deep bumps distributed along the edges. Magne-traction maximizes edge pressure between the feet, bringing this once unreachable "dead area" back to life for more control and stability in the gnarliest conditions.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freeride
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freeride
Freeride snowboards are designed for the rider that spends most of the day off groomed runs and in backcountry terrain. They typically have a stiffer flex and are ridden in longer sizes than freestyle snowboards. Freeride snowboards often feature a directional shape that is designed to perform optimally in one direction.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker
    Rocker/Camber/Rocker
Rocker/Camber/Rocker shapes seek to give you both hard-carving edgehold on firm snow from camber underfoot with enhanced turnability and float in powder from the rockered tip and tail. This profile is increasingly popular for freeride boards designed primarily for soft snow.
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
    Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
