Rossignol Angus Amptek Mid Wide Snowboard 2013

Mother Nature just dumped inches of new pow all over the mountain, but luckily for you the park crew got to work early to make the kickers and rails the best they've been all year. Suddenly you have to ask yourself the hardest question of all: "What part of the mountain will I hit today?" Have no fear, the Rossignol Angus Amptek Mid Wide Snowboard is here! This board is able to dominate the entire mountain. From destroying pillow lines to grindin' the nastiest rails both sides of the Mississippi, the Angus Amptek will keep you on the mountain all day long. Never choose between pow or the park again; hit them both in one day with the Rossignol Angus Amptek Mid Wide Snowboard!
Rocker Type
AMPTEK All-Mountain - A combination of 60% Rocker and 40% Camber gives you more control, stability, edge pressure and smoother landings due to the rocker profile in the nose and tail and camber profile under the bindings.
Flex
Flex Rating: 7 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - Perfect for all mountain riding
Twin All-Mountain - Symmetrical flex with stiffer areas under the feet adds punch and grip, while a stiffer waist adds stability at high speeds.
Sidecut
True Twin - A stiff nose and tail provide pop and high impact landings, while the soft waist gives balance on rails and smooth transitions.
Core
Wood S-Tips - Easy-to-manipulate with explosive pop in the tip and tail
Laminates
Glass Fiber - Glass has greater elongation before break than carbon and comes in multiple weights and weavings, making it the #1 choice for customized flex and torsional resistance. Glass fiber also stabilizes the mechanical properties of the wood core over time.
S-Tips - Carbon fibers run up the middle of the board and fork-out toward the edges at the tip and tail, delivering explosive pop while retaining the board's playful, manipulative qualities. Aramid runs through the middle of the base for increased shock absorption.
Base
Sintered 7500 - A super high density UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) sintered base with a stone finishing gives the board the fastest and most durable base to date.

Comments about Rossignol Angus Amptek Mid Wide Snowboard 2013:

sweet ride, definitely fits the bill as an 'all mountain' board. simple design and the art speaks for itself. i wear a size 11 boot and the 162 is a perfect fit. only gripe is it dings semi easily.
