The Rome Mountain Division Snowboard is crammed with power and unleashes fury from peak to peak. A Free-The-Ride profile makes this Directional shaped board a quiver killer. Soar atop the deepest pow you can find with a rocker nose, absolutely body your carves with a flat midsection and pop over features with the cambered tail. Rome has completed the trifecta of rocker profiles. Pair that with the lightweight AirPop Core, TurboRods, and Z-Tech 2.0 and the Mountain Division has the armor to fight powder on the daily. Season after season, the Rome Mountain Division Snowboard will be ready for whatever Mother Nature unleashes.
Free-The-Ride – Rome's camber profile specifically designed for riders who want a board that floats and pops through every type of terrain. From woods, to chutes, to pillow lines, to groomers and everywhere in between, this design merges three different zones to bring you a responsive kick that still glides effortlessly in deep snow. Free-the-Ride Camber begins with a positive camber in the board's tail, transitioning into a flat camber section beneath the rider's front foot and ending in a rockered nose for maximum float. The end product of this blend is an ultra-agile turning machine with buoyant nose for powder and an appetite for groomers and choppy conditions. The rockered nose lets you float and rip through the deeper snow while the flat camber under your front foot blends in a reassuring amount of stability and response. The positive cambered tail rounds it all out by providing the snap and slash power that all-mountain riding needs.
Directional – These boards feature noses that are larger than their tails to help you ride faster in deep snow. The stances are set back slightly to maximize this sidecut-to-stance relationship.
AirPop Core Matrix – Made of Poplar wood to add strength and durability while providing you with unprecedented pop. There are five wood sections with varying densities and air channels in order to make the board extremely light.
TurboRods | Carbon Double Barrel – Milled out channels in the core are replaced by carbon rods. The result is improved pop, flex, and durability while reducing vibrations and impact.
Superlight Biax – This laminate adds pop and response to the deck while keeping the torsional flex smooth and fun.
Z-Tech 2.0 – A wider strip of Zylon means that the board has less weight, more strength, and more pop for slashes and ollies.
Good Vibes Sidewalls – Designed to compliment the ultra-responsive nature of all-mountain boards, this sidewall technology is both durable and chatter dampening. The key to these sidewalls is a sandwich of absorbent ABS sidewall material around layers of elastomeric material. The end product is chatter dampening that also effectively increases the board's over all strength thanks to greater impact absorption.
SinterSpeed – Rome used a high-end sintered compound to bring new levels of speed to your riding. SinterSpeed retains the absorbed wax helping you maintain max speeds between waxes for effortless ripping and jump boosting.
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
