Ride Promise Snowboard - Women's 2012: Pledging non-stop fun, the Ride Promise Snowboard is always a fulfilling ride no matter where you treck on the mountain. The LowPro™ shape is playful and loose thanks to LowRize™ Rocker in the tip and stable, ProRize™ in the tail. Reinforced with Slimewalls® and Carbon Array™3, the Ride Promise Snowboard will never disappoint.
Flex
Flex rating: 6 (1 soft – 10 stiff)
Offering a moderate amount of response, the Ride Promise Snowboard is still soft enough.
Construction and Core
Thin Construction features a tapered tip and tail to reduce swing weight, enhanced tip flex, and sidewalls that run past the effective edge.
Performance Tuned Core™ is built with high strength Aspen combined with Bamboo and other woods to provide the perfect balance of a strong and lightweight core.
Carbon Array 3™ is power distributing technology that provides total board control in every stance. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control.
Hybrid Glass has triaxial on top, biaxial on base and balanced torsion and stiffness for better response with speed.
Linear Carbon laminate is used to increase pop, snap and liveliness with the added benefit of carbon strength.
Shape
LowPro™ Rocker has a directional profile with LowRize™ Rocker in the front and stable ProRize™ Rocker in the tail that is flat underfoot.
Sidewalls, Edges and Base
90A Slimewalls are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. The urethane in Slimewalls® smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on.
Fusion 4000 Base™ offers a more durable, harder and faster sintered base.
2x4 inserts to dial in your stance to what feels best
Standard Steel edge wraps the entire perimeter of your board for the best delam protection.

Comments about Ride Promise Snowboard - Women's 2012:

This snowboard is great all over the mountain. I like to have one snowboard that I can ride in the powder and through the park. I felt extremely comfortable on this board in all conditions. It is very stable on flat cat tracks, which is nice when your legs are tired after a long run in the powder.

Comments about Ride Promise Snowboard - Women's 2012:

Took this out on its maiden voyage and it's worlds better than my old board and the demo rentals I'd been using. It feels so much lighter and smaller, but after one run it felt totally stable and buttery. I'm an intermediate rider, feel like I'll have room to grow with this one, learn jumps, etc.

Comments about Ride Promise Snowboard - Women's 2012:

This is my second season riding consistently (about 25 times a season) and this is my only other board that I have ever owned. (Before this one, I had a Burton Feather 151) and switching has made such a difference! I went from novice to intermediate within a couple runs! Although I am not that knowledgeable on the technical language of snowboarding, what I can say is that I am far more confidant riding on this new board. I can carve better, ride faster and even attempt to jump once in a while. When I was on my burton, it took me a whole season to learn to carve and ride through powder and with this new Ride board, I am able to Ollie on my 4th day up, no matter the snow conditions. I'm really excited to see how I progress on this board throughout the season!
