Rock out with your pop out on the award winning Ride Machete Snowboard. The Machete is freestyle twin board that can handle anything from pow to icy corduroys due to its fast base, smooth-riding Slimwalls® and durable Cleave edges. The LowRize™ Rocker featured on the Machete eliminates hook and provides tons of pop, resulting in a fun, surfy feel, versatile park board that is built to last. Hack up the entire mountain on a board built for destruction. `
Rocker Type
LowRise™ Rocker - LowRise™ rocker just slightly lifts the contact points out of the snow and has a nearly flat zone under foot. These twin rides are full of smooth-riding fun.

Flex
Feel-O-Meter: 4 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - This is a freestyle all-mountain flex that remains playful enough to destroy the park while allowing you to charge hard down the slopes. Ride's Feel-O-Meter rating is adjusted year to year to align with current industry standards. A board unchanged from last year may receive a new feel number this year if the industry scale shifts.
Shape
Twin - Completely symmetrical with identical tip and tail measurements and flex pattern
Core
Pop Rods® 1.0 Core - Ride's Pop Rods® give already fun and playful boards the added liveliness to set them apart from the competition. Using strategic placement in the boards tip and/or tail, this technology adds pop without the stiffness generally associated with snappy boards. Made up of flat carbon rods that wrap a urethane slime-core, Pop Rods® have carbon for massive pop and a slime-core to smooth out the landing.
Laminates
Carbon Array 3™ Laminate - This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control.
Biaxial Glass - 90° and 0° angles are fun and forgiving. Ride's unique glass designs are flatter and more consistent; therefore they are stronger with no gaps or stretching as can be found in woven glass.
Base
Fusion 4000™ Base - More durable, harder and faster than extruded bases, Fusion 4000™ is the fastest base material known (sintered). Ride invented and owns the Fusion Base™ Technology in which material is formed together for a solid, fast Ride every time.
Edges
Cleave Edge™ Steel - Nearly 50% more steel delivers unmatched resistance to edge cracking and can be detuned to larger radii.
Binding Compatibility
2 x 4 Inserts

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freestyle
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
