Time to let the grom go buck wild with the 2015 Ride Lil' Buck Snowboard. With its twin rocker profile, this deck is ready to hit the park or just cruise the slopes with pops. Plus, Slimewalls® give the board added durability so your little shred demon can rally hard on all kinds of terrain. Built to go anywhere, anytime, this freestyle bad boy will let your child turn into the star he was meant to be.
Rocker Type
Twin Rocker - This twin shape has minimal rocker featuring a long, stable flat zone that extends well beyond the inserts into the tip and tail.
Flex
Feel-O-Meter: 3 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - This is a soft and forgiving all-mountain flex, great for beginners or anyone looking for a smooth and stable Ride. Ride's Feel-O-Meter rating is adjusted year to year to align with current industry standards. A board unchanged from last year may receive a new feel number this year if the industry scale shifts.
Core
Foundation Tuned™ Core - Tip-to-tail wood core with proven durability that retains pop and flex: Mixing natural wood with high-energy "uppers" and vibration absorbing "downers" creates a core tuned for maximum snap and feel.
Laminates
Biaxial Glass - 90° and 0° angles are fun and forgiving. Ride's unique glass designs are flatter and more consistent; therefore they are stronger with no gaps or stretching as can be found in woven glass.
Sidewalls
Slimewalls® Sidewall - Ride's exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls® smooths the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may Ride on. On top of all that, these babies are the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding and virtually indestructible.

Base
Fusion 1500™ Base - The industry standard, it's wax absorbing and easy to repair. Ride invented and owns the Fusion Base™ Technology, in which material is formed together for a solid, fast Ride every time.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Binding Compatibility
4 x 4 Insert pattern

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Soft
    Soft
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
