You don't need to worry if you forget your makeup compact, but you should worry if you forget the Ride Compact Snowboard and it's dumping snow. The Compact is not only playful because of it's top sheet graphic but also because of it's soft and forgiving feel. You can easily lock in your perfect between-the-bindings boardslides if you have the Compact's street-focused design on your side. Poppy without taking away from it's playfulness, you will easily ollie onto massive features thanks to the LowRize™ Rocker profile that places a flat zone underfoot for extra stability and press-ability. Shred like the boys while lookin' like a lady on the colorful Ride Compact Snowboard.
Rocker Type
LowRize™ Rocker - A twin rockered shape that gently lifts the contact points out of the snow to avoid catching an edge and has a nearly flat zone under foot.

Flex
Flex Rating: 2 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - A soft flex is playful and forgiving, ideal for jibbing and progression.
Shape
Twin - Twin snowboards are playful and perfect for riding switch.
Right Sized - Ride's women-specific shaping allows you to choose from a variety of sizes. You can easily ride a larger board for more float in powder or size down to ride the park without toe-drag. Regardless of your boot size you can pick the snowboard size you want.
Ladies Specific Design - Ride's LSD snowboard shape features a narrower waist width, ladies specific flex pattern, sidecut and finely tuned rocker profile.
Core
Foundation™ Core - Aspen wood from tip-to-tail for durability, pop, and flex.
Laminates
Biaxial Glass - 90° and 0° angles are fun and forgiving. Ride's unique glass designs are flatter and more consistent; therefore they are stronger with no gaps or stretching as can be found in woven glass.
Sidewalls
Slimewalls® - Ride's exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls® smooths the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you ride on.
Base
Fusion 1500™ Base - Highly wax absorbent and easy to repair.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges
Rockwell 48C Edges
Topsheet
Membrain® Top Sheet - This top sheet is extremely lightweight but maintains a smooth feel by infusing urethane into fabric.
Binding Compatibility
2 x 4 Inserts
2 x 4 Insert Pattern

  • Terrain: Freestyle
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Soft
    Soft
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
