The Ride Buckwild Snowboard is an instant team favorite for the Ride Pro Riders. You can find Alex Cantin and Matt Ladley having more fun on this board than you. The Buckwild features a minimal rocker in the tip and tail with a long flat zone beneath your feet to give you the perfect shape for lapping the park like a pro. With tons of pop due to Rides Pop Rods™ 2.0 Core, a super fast Fusion 4000™ base, and indestructible Slimewalls®, the Ride Buckwild Snowboard is ready to get Buckwild on kickers, rails, and anything else you decide to bless.
Rocker Type
Twin Rocker - Twin rocker is a hook-free twin shape featuring micro rocker combined with a long, stable flat zone that extends beyond the inserts into the tip and tail // Dialed for hitting features from big booters to rails and everything in between

Flex
Feel-O-Meter: 4 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - This is a freestyle all-mountain flex that remains playful enough to destroy the park while allowing you to charge hard down the slopes. Ride's Feel-O-Meter rating is adjusted year to year to align with current industry standards. A board unchanged from last year may receive a new feel number this year if the industry scale shifts.
Shape
Twin - Completely symmetrical with identical tip and tail measurements and flex pattern
Core
Pop Rods® 2.0 Core - Ride's Pop Rods® give already fun and playful boards the added liveliness to set them apart from the competition. Using strategic placement in the boards tip and/or tail, this technology adds pop without the stiffness generally associated with snappy boards. Made up of flat carbon rods that wrap a urethane slime-core, Pop Rods® have carbon for massive pop and a slime-core to smooth out the landing.
Laminates
Carbon Array 3™ Laminate - This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control.
Hybrid Glass - Triaxial fiberglass on top and biaxial on the base results in balanced torsion and stiffness for better response at speed. Ride's unique glass designs are flatter, more consistent and therefore stronger, without the gaps or stretching of woven glass.
Sidewalls
Slimewalls® Sidewall - Ride's exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls® smooths the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may Ride on. On top of all that, these babies are the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding and virtually indestructible.

Base
Fusion 4000™ Base - More durable, harder and faster than extruded bases, Fusion 4000™ is the fastest base material known (sintered). Ride invented and owns the Fusion Base™ Technology in which material is formed together for a solid, fast Ride every time.
Edges
Cleave Edge™ Steel - Nearly 50% more steel delivers unmatched resistance to edge cracking and can be detuned to larger radii.
Binding Compatibility
2 x 4 Inserts

  • Terrain: Freestyle
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
