Nitro's hooking up larger dudes everywhere with a snow stick dreamed up specifically for getting the giants among us ripping hard on the mountain. Pull the trigger on the Nitro Magnum and other's are going to have a hard time keeping up with you. The Roof Chop Camber sets the deck into a traditional camber but has a flat zone in between the feet, smoothing out the feel of traditional camber for easier turns with all the control. Weight's kept to a minimum with the Powerlite Core and strength is maximized with Sintered Speed Formula HD Base and Bi-Lite Laminate protection. All combine together in an all-mountain shred package that evens the playing field. For the tall, big footed, man-squatches yearning to get after pow, the Nitro Magnum Snowboard is your ticket.

Specs

  • Terrain: Freeride
    Freeride
Freeride snowboards are designed for the rider that spends most of the day off groomed runs and in backcountry terrain. They typically have a stiffer flex and are ridden in longer sizes than freestyle snowboards. Freeride snowboards often feature a directional shape that is designed to perform optimally in one direction.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Camber
    Camber
Camber is the traditional profile for snowboards, and still popular among high-level park and pipe riders because it offers maximum energy and pop. A cambered board has a smooth arch underfoot and touches near the tip and tail when unweighted; when the rider’s weight is added, it provides a long, evenly pressured running surface and edge.
  • Shape: Directional
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
    Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
