Nitro Fate Zero Snowboard - Women's 2015

Nitro Shop all Nitro
Beginners and the advanced alike have much to gain from the Nitro Fate Zero Snowboard. Zero camber is becoming increasingly popular in the park for balanced performance on rails and kickers and is also an excellent starting point to get new riders shredding their first time up. The core profile thins out below the feet, due to the Reflex Core Profile, and opens up both handling and torsional flex for carves and next-world butters. The Sintered Speed Formula HD Base and Bi-Lite Laminate act as a core-shot protector while packing in as much mountain charging power as they could fit. Turn up the stoke, whether you're blasting away rails, or you're starting to nail down your carves, with the Nitro Fate Zero Snowboard.
Rocker Type
Zero: The Everybody Camber - If reverse camber is too loose and standard camber is too stiff, then Zero camber is the solution you have been looking for. This highly versatile profile allows you to enjoy the benefits of both camber and reverse camber, without sacrificing response, for playfulness and vice-versa. Zero camber is quickly becoming the profile of choice for park and urban riders worldwide.
Flex
All Terrain: All Mountain Pop - Nitro's most versatile flex pattern, combining signature pop with smooth response, allowing you to tear up the entire mountain.
Shape
Directional Twin - Twin shape with a slight setback. Mount it at recommended for a slight directional feel, or mount it true twin for freestyle domination.
Core
Powerlite Core: Lightweight Performance and Pop - The highest grade of ultra-lightweight poplar wood in Nitro Powerlite core makes for the perfect ride with lots of pop and unmatched strength at a minimum weight.
Reflex Core Profile: Enhanced Profile Control - A thinner core profile between your feet improves handling and increases torsional flex, allowing you to steer your board through a turn with ease.
Laminates
Bi-Lite Laminate: Forgiving and Strong - Nitro's rider-trusted Bi-Lite Laminates are engineered for unrivaled strength, powerful style and refined board-feel.
Base
Sintered Speed Formula HD: High Definition - High Density - High Durability - Utilizing a new base material compound, Nitro has been able to achieve higher abrasion resistance, increased wax absorption and higher on-snow speeds. All in an ultra clear package for extra crisp graphics.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Flat
    Flat
A flat profile is just as you’d expect – flat from near the tip of the board to near the tail. This shape splits the difference between camber and rocker, with more forgiving turnability than a fully cambered board and more precise edging capability than a fully rockered one
  • Shape: Directional Twin
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
