The Never Summer Legacy-R Wide Rocker Snowboard dominates all kinds of terrain from parks to groomers to backcountry kickers. Its width eliminates most toe and heel drag, but is narrow enough to be quick and responsive. A deeper sidecut, Carbon VXR laminate and powerful flex make it the most versatile, high-performance mid-wide board Never Summer has ever built. ‘Nuff said.

- Flex and Rider Style:Flex Rating: 6 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff) The Never Summer Legacy-R Rocker is a medium flex board and the most versatile board that Never Summer offers. Although its design is geared towards park and freestyle, the Never Summer Legacy-R is capable of tackling any part of the mountain. Carbon VXR laminate was designed for Never Summer’s freestyle boards to increase power and stiffness from the bindings to the edge as well as soften the tip and tail for greater shredability.
- Construction and Core:Like all Never Summer snowboards, the Legacy-R features STS Pretensioned fiber; the world’s best snowboard fiberglass.. The glass is pre-hardened, pre-tensioned, and has layered laminate with elastomer stringers running the length of the effective edge. This translates to excellent strength, edge hold, and performance. Never Summer’s Custom Flight Core combines light softwoods and elastomeric vibration dampers to create a board that actually increases damping the faster you ride.
- Sidewalls and Edges:Never Summer was the first company to introduce and perfect the Sinter P-Tex Sidewalls, and they haven’t looked back. Thousands of boards later they still haven’t seen one crack. Sintered P-Tex Sidewalls have greater strength at cold temperatures than traditional ABS designs.
- Base:A Durasurf Sintered 4501 base completes the Never Summer SL-R Rocker Snowboard with the highest quality base material on the market. This high density base is extremely fast and will provide unmatched performance and durability.
