- Flex and Rider Style:Flex Rating: 4 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff) The Never Summer Evo-R Rocker Snowboard is a flexible board that is a little on the soft side of the middle. The Evo has slightly reduced damping, but this enables the board to have greater snap and liveliness. The Never Summer Evo-R Rocker Snowboard is the ultimate park, pipe, and jib board.
- Construction and Core:The Never Summer Evo-R uses a custom damping system known as the Evo Damping System (EDS). Only found in the Evo, the EDS delivers increased edgehold and high speed stability without compromising the Evo-R’s freestyle performance. The Evo-R utilizes Never Summer’s Custom Flight Core as the center piece for freestyle domination. The Custom Flight core combines ultra light softwood and vertical layers of elastomeric vibration dampers. Thanks to this design dampening is actually increased as you ride faster.
- Sidewalls and Edges:Never Summer chooses to use only their patented sintered P-Tex sidewalls because they are far more durable than traditional ABS constructed sidewalls. P-Tex doesn’t crack in cold temperatures like ABS does, which means more riding and less time in the shop. Full metal wrap edges do exactly what you would expect; they stay sharp and responsive.
- Base:The Evo-R’s Durasurf Sintered 4501 base is made constructed from light weight, heavy duty plastic composites that create a base that is extremely fast and will provide unmatched performance and durability.
