There are few podiums that the Lib Tech TRS XC2 BTX Snowboard has yet to stand upon. Lib has created this board to perform aggressively on any terrain in a variety of conditions. The main ingredient that fuels this kind of boundary-less riding is the XC2 rocker. This camber rocker blend makes riding more dynamic than any other rocker profile on the market, especially when combined with Magne-Traction™ technology for unreal edge control on ice and hardpack. From beautiful wind blown pow to blue ice, and everything in between, the Lib Tech TRS XC2 BTX Snowboard will show intermediates to competition level riders a grand time.
Rocker Type
XC2 BTX - A new formula of C2 with a short but aggressive banana rocker combined with cambers that sit more underfoot. Extra solid tip and tail pressure for power, pop, precision and end-to-end stability combined with a medium amount of pressure between your feet for carving, edge hold on ice and float in pow.

Flex
Flex: 5 (depending on size) - This snowboard has a medium flex rating which is perfect for all-mountain riders who don’t want to be held back. Medium flex boards’ are stable, good at turning and playful. This snowboard will equally perform on groomers, powder and in the park. Versatility sits right in the middle.
Shape
True Twin - A true twin snowboard shape is ideal for riders who want to ride switch or play in the park. The nose and tail are identical and the flex is evenly distributed throughout the entirety of the board. True twins are perfectly symmetrical.
Core
Columbia Gold Power Aspen - This milled wood core made from select species of lively wood from south of the border. Ultra lightweight, strong, high-density fibers make for a smooth ride.
Laminates
Basalt - Volcanic, organic, additive-free reinforcements are made from Mother Nature's finest minerals. Flex modulus is synchronized with Lib Tech's resin system for maximum strength and minimum weight.
Tri-Ax / Bi-Ax - Perfect blend of Tri-Ax: 45° 45° 90° Fiber foundation torsion enhancing pop amplifier and Bi-Ax: 0° 90° Fiber foundation flexible pop magnifier.
Sidewalls
UHMW Sintered Sidewalls - Ultra High Molecular Weight exterior sidewalls made from soy-based elastomer are laminated to five internal wood layers for totally bombproof sidewalls.
Birch Power Transfer Internal Sidewalls - These sidewalls transfer energy to the edges more rapidly. Aiming to give you unmatched control, pop, precision, and response.
UHMW Tip/Tail Impact Deflection
Base
TnT Base Material - Fast and low maintenance dual layered fluoro base material. Wax it or maybe skip a day and it will go unnoticed. Use Oneballjay snowboard wax for the highest speed and retention.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges
Magne-Traction™ - The hot commodity in edge-technology; Magne-Traction maximizes your edge hold between your feet so you have better control and stability even on the iciest slopes. Magne-Traction varies in the serration depending on the board; regardless it will deliver a catch free ride any day.

Topsheet
Eco-Sublimation PBT Topsheet - This is a unique water-based graphic process that uses no toxic solvents or curtain coats in the manufacturing process. In exchange, you have a durable, classy looking top sheet that was made environmentally-friendly.
Graphics
Enviro Graphics - There are no cancer-causing toxins in the graphic clear-coats. Instead, Mervin Manufacturing uses a water-based ink system to print all their snowboard graphics.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freeride, Freestyle
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freeride
Freeride snowboards are designed for the rider that spends most of the day off groomed runs and in backcountry terrain. They typically have a stiffer flex and are ridden in longer sizes than freestyle snowboards. Freeride snowboards often feature a directional shape that is designed to perform optimally in one direction.
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Camber/Rocker/Camber
    Camber/Rocker/Camber
Camber/Rocker/Camber is a profile that’s specific to snowboards and which works because the rider’s weight flattens the two cambered areas. This design produces a strong, pressured carving zone between the rider’s feet and retains pop and carving precision at the tip and tail.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
