Lib Tech feels for riders who've been denied the board of their dreams because it doesn't come in the right size. With the Lib Tech Skunk Ape HP C2 BTX Snowboard, Lib has forged a deck that not only supports larger riders, but gets ya ripping too. You'll be locked and loaded, ready to descend upon tree lines, pow fields, and narrow chutes with the C2 BTX handling varied terrain and snow conditions with ease. If the backcountry isn't your abode, an eco-sublimated TNT base tosses in some serious durability for a season of rail jams. As with most Lib Tech decks, the Skunk Ape is rounded out with tried-and-true Magne-Traction™ technology for optimal edge contact every day you hit the slopes. In this HP model, Horsepower Construction threads basalt layers into the core for added stability at speed and reduced weight. Don't just be large, be large and in charge on the Lib Tech Skunk Ape C2 BTX Snowboard.
Rocker Type
C2 BTX - Lib Tech's favorite camber rocker blend for aggressive power snowboarders. Solid tip and tail pressure for power, pop, precision and end-to-end stability combined with a medium amount of pressure between your feet for float, carving and edge hold.
Flex: 7 (depending on size) - A versatile, medium-stiff flex designed to be aggressive yet playful, and great for all-mountain riding.
Directional Twin - Effortless freestyle and freeride geometry. Twin chassis from contact to contact points but with an ever so slightly longer nose than tail. This board floats on powder, charges through chunder with a Twin advantage.
Aspen / Paulownia / Columbian Gold - This milled wood core made from select species of lively wood from south of the border. Ultra lightweight, strong, high-density fibers make for a smooth ride.
Basalt - Volcanic, organic, additive-free reinforcements are made from Mother Nature's finest minerals. Flex modulus is synchronized with Lib Tech's resin system for maximum strength and minimum weight.
UHMW Sintered Sidewalls - Ultra High Molecular Weight exterior sidewalls made from soy-based elastomer are laminated to five internal wood layers for totally bombproof sidewalls.
Birch Power Transfer Internal Sidewalls - These sidewalls transfer energy to the edges more rapidly. Aiming to give you unmatched control, pop, precision, and response.
UHMW Tip/Tail Impact Deflection
Sintered Base - This base material was made through an environmentally-friendly process without the use of toxic solvents or curtain coats. Compression hardened amorphous UHMW creates the toughest, fastest best wax holding base material around. For best results, wax regularly.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Magne-Traction® - Strategically located serrations on your edges that create confidence-building, fatigue-reducing, edge hold all over the mountain especially on hard pack and ice.
Eco-Sublimination Bio-Beans Topsheet - No toxic chemicals or coatings, just beans! Lib Tech has made a commitment to using new earth friendly, bio-plastic top skin made from castor beans that feature the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any topsheet in the industry.
Enviro Graphics - There are no cancer-causing toxins in the graphic clear-coats. Instead, Mervin Manufacturing uses a water-based ink system to print all their snowboard graphics.

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Camber/Rocker/Camber
Camber/Rocker/Camber is a profile that’s specific to snowboards and which works because the rider’s weight flattens the two cambered areas. This design produces a strong, pressured carving zone between the rider’s feet and retains pop and carving precision at the tip and tail.
  • Shape: Directional Twin
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
